This is a french limestone, exclusively supplied to the Irish Market by We Sell Stone Interiors . Com. It is formed by layers of marine organisms, deposited on the sea floor and compressed over millions of years to create a stone of intriguing texture and character. As if this wasn't enough to assure its popularity, limestone is also durable, practical and highly versatile.

Layout Option
Site conditions can vary enormously which can therefore affect quantities of adhesive required. 1) Ensure product is completely dry before laying. 2) Ensure stones have had at least one saturation of Lithofin MN Stain Stop before installation as this will protect the surface of the stones when handed. 3) IMPORTANT: Ensure you achieve an even coverage of 5 - 10m2 per litre of Lithofin MN Stain Stop, this may mean applying more than one coat. 4) NEVER lay on dabs. 5) Can be laid on solid floors and screeded floors with underfloor heating using Bal Flexible Thickbed White Adhesive. 6) Use a 3-5mm thickness of Bal Flexible Thickbed White Adhesive. 7) Leave a joint width of 3-5mm between each stone for honed, or 6-10mm for antiqued finish.
Grout
Use Bal Ivory Wide Joint Grout, or Bal Superflex Ivory Grout with underfloor heating. For suspended floors use Bal Ivory Wide Joint Grout mixed with Bal GT1 Admix. We recommend you test small area with the grout mortar selected to ensure it does not stain the edges of the stones.
Sealant
NOTE: The room should be well ventilated during sealing and at a minimum temperature of 15C. Further coats of sealant may be applied to the whole floor for added protection or enhanced appearance. This may be done once the grout is cured and the floor cleaned and dry and free from any dirt or loose particles. We recommend Lithofin MN Stain Stop. Do not allow the sealant to puddle and remove surplus with a cloth. For high foot traffic area, Lithofin MN Multi Seal can be used to facilitate easier maintenance
Aftercare
Sweep/Mop with clean warm water or mild detergent. Occasional wash with Easy Care Cleaner.
Pallet
Approximately 27m2 per pallet (depending on the stones thickness). Not more than 1 tonne.
Care Instructions
When the floor installation is complete, it will require the minimum amount of maintenance. Do not use bleach or acid based floor cleaners as they will damage the stone. Ensure cleaning materials is neutral and low in alkaline, we recommend Easy Care for normal use. In order to protect the honed finish of the stone a periodical care treatment can be carried out for which Litofin MN Care Seal is recommended. Stubborn dirt such as shoe rubber may be removed from time to time with Lithofin MN Power Clean, but this should only be necessary very occasionally.
